Sucie and Susan are still so playful.

Sucie was sick 2 weeks ago. The volunteer, 致睿, took her home giving her special care. Sucie is very happy at her home, and very playful. The disease doesn't seem to affect Sucie's health too much. That's the best news for you. ^ ^


Susan looked sick last week and we were very worried, thinking she was sick like Sucie. Luckily, Susan got better very soon, and the fungal infection was treated. We took Susan to the roof every day to let the sun treat her skin disease. She runs as fast as she can whenever she gets upstairs. We also give her treats for her teeth. She loves the treats.

Dynamo is getting better.

Dynamo was very, very sick for the last 2 weeks. He was not eating and didn't want to move. He was very dirty at that time, because he couldn't clean himself. Even the vet said we could just give him all the best care and wait.

After 2-weeks of special care, he was getting better and better. He is now very sweet and beautiful. You can tell how healthy he is by checking his photos.

ps: Thank you for Dr. Lin, and 貢丸, 陽明的翁醫師. 這陣子對她的照顧.. ^ ^

橡皮筋貓Zero

橡皮筋貓Zero - 救援個案- 10月24

10/22 , 接獲通報在基隆看到一隻橡皮筋貓,因傷口腐爛,已經開始發臭.
帶了捕貓籠, 當天就誘捕到牠. (取名為Zero)
立即帶到 Dr. Lin 動手術,取出橡皮筋, 並綘合傷口.

並同時做好結紮手術,以利到時原地放回 ( CNR 計劃)

10/23 Zero的食欲不錯,會把整盤貓罐吃光光.

但是脖子上的傷口仍然紅腫著.

目前每天要吃藥, 2個星期後要回去拆線.
目前通報人陳小姐 負責照顧Zero , 直到14天後拆線,即可Return回去.

早上Ebony和Ivory不曉得在幹嘛, 一直追來追去, 拉來拉去, 玩得好開心! We didn’t know what had gotten into Ebony and Ivory, but they were running around and playing happily all morning! Ebony is no longer as shy as she used to be and will let people pet her, but Ivory continues to be frightened and will hide. As time passes, we hope she will get used to people. Marble is in the kitchen now, and sometimes she will eat the food off the table when we aren’t paying attention and spoil her appetite. L Judy’s and Julian’s new wheelchairs arrived; Julian seems to enjoy it, but Judy hasn’t gotten used to it. It seems that the wheels are slightly off center in order to prevent high-speed collisions! Yesterday and today, Eleven and his brother Seven arrived. It looks like Eleven is already used to things, and both of them are very good with people!Sporty really seems to love dogs – when he sees Zepplin next door, Sporty tries to Lick Zepplin! When we were returning the dogs to room five, Dahei got too close to Ebony現在對人比較不會那麼緊張了, 會乖乖的讓芃諭摸摸頭, 摸摸背, 摸摸腳, 而Ivory卻還是很害怕, 手伸過去會一直躲, 但是時間久了, 牠就比較習慣, 就比較不會躲了! Marble現在住在廚房, 有時候都會趁我們不注意的時候偷吃肉, 吃得只剩下一點點, 連自己的飯都吃不下L Judy 和Julian的新輪椅來了，Julian很開心的衝來衝去，但Judy好像還不太習慣…不過新輪椅的輪胎做得斜斜的，聽說是防高速翻車喔!!! :D 昨天來的白子貓咪Eleven今天他兄弟Seven也來了，看來Eleven適應得還不錯，他們兩個都很愛人摸和愛撒嬌喔!!! 可愛的Sporty真的很”愛狗”耶, 看到隔壁間的Zepplin竟然想要舔他! 放狗放到五號房時, Da hei因為不小心太靠近Phoenix, 所以就被她兇了一頓, 真不曉得到底誰才是老大!??

今天本來以為會下大雨,結果一整天的好天氣大太陽,希望明天跟今天一樣好天氣. Pondy準備住到辦公室嚕,希望來協會的人會喜歡上他. Liberty今天調皮的跟我們玩了捉迷藏,自己偷偷跑去外面,我們開門他又自己跑回來,真是調皮的孩子. Paolo簡直是坐享齊人之福,吃完飯後躺在棧板上睡午覺,Janet&Oreo順勢的躺在他身邊陪著他睡覺Nico眼紅的在旁邊一直繞來繞去,看來Nico真的很愛Janet呢. 大家今天吃心絲蟲藥了. 1. We thought it was going to rain today, but it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. We hope tomorrow will be as nice. 2. Pondy is getting ready to live in the office; we hope organization members will like him. 3. Liberty teased us by playing hide-and-go-seek today: he secretly ran outside, and when we opened the door he came rushing back in. 4. Paolo is really living it up: after eating a full meal he laid down to take a nap, and Janet and Oreo decided to take a nap right next to him. Nico probably got jealous and so started to meander around them – it looks like Nico really likes Janet! 5. Everyone took their heartworms medicine today.

今天大家都點了蚤不到了 Marble的新爸媽來看他嚕,確定下星期要到新家試養嚕. 一早品秀跟Liberty的寄養家庭來帶他回家嚕. LuLu一整天都悶悶的,也許在想家呢. 1. Everyone got flea repellant today. 2. Marble’s new mother and father came by to confirm that they will be taking Marble in for a trial adoption. 3. In the morning, Pinxiu and Liberty’s temporary household came to take them back home. 4. LuLu seemed melancholic all day, perhaps she was homesick.

lulu今天要跟我回家看看 ,,,,if lulu 乖乖的話,,,, 就 不 會 回來 AT looo 胖弟 每次我要出去 外面時 牠就 會 叫個不停 Sheena 今天 不知 為何 有 種 兇 nanook Coffe 明天 就 要 回 AT 嘞 超級 開心 的 聽說 他 在 汐止 醫院 那裡 在 哭 Da he 和 whitey 吵 架 吵 一 下 下 sister 今天 跳 出 來 1. Lulu will come home with me today, and won’t come back if she’s obedient! Every time I try to go outside, Pangdi screams continuously. 2. Sheena for some reason was angry at Nanook. 3. Coffee will come back to Animals Taiwan, we heard that he was crying at the hospital. 4. Dahei and Whitey only fought for a little while. Sister ran out today.

Coffee終於回來了，一進運動場就拉著Chiao直奔三號房！ Addie去七號房try out，大家沒有排擠他可是可能他太幼齒不想跟他玩。但Addie還是很有精神並且用樂觀的態度在認識大家喔！ Pangbian不太吃東西而且吐了幾次，所以現在待在辦公室裡觀察，希望只是太熱影響你吃飯的情緒而已!! Phoenix也太兇了吧！Da hei被她”罵”得頭都低低的不敢走… May今天不知道看Molly哪裡不順眼，還想要咬Molly耶，也不想想自己跟Molly的體型差距，真有現代女性的氣魄！ Julian輪椅坐得好好的一下子不見他他竟上演金蟬脫殼這招，不過有輪椅還是有差，跑得飛快的咧！ 1. Coffee is finally back, and right when he got into the runway dragged Chiao to room three！ 2. Addie went to try out room seven. They didn’t reject him, but they didn’t hplay with him either. Addie is still optimistic and is just trying to get to know everyone! 3. Pangbian isn’t eating and threw up a few times, so he’s staying in the office under surveillance. We hope that it’s just too hot. 4. Phoenix is too mean! Dahei got yelled by Phoenix so much that he won’t raise his head. 5. May for some reason didn’t like Molly today and even tried to bite her without thinking of their difference in size – very much like the boldness of today’s women! 6.. Julian was sitting happily in his wheelchair until he disappeared and can get around very quickly in his wheelchair!

Lucky DaTung ( new name: Pilott) 幸運之神眷顧大屯

Dear all,Pilott, an injured dog at the rescue center, was recently paid a visit by her rescuer and her entire family. They all fell in love with Pilott and decided to adopt her. At her new home, Pilott has been getting along very well with the other dog, and everything has been going great. Anne, the original rescuer, is also very happy to have her new companion.Pilott is truly lucky, and we hope that other animals will also be as fortunate. Please find attached a letter and photos from Pilott’s new family.

在大屯( 新名字: Pilott ) 受傷來到救援中心後,牠的發現者之一帶著全家人來救援中心看牠,
全家人都被大屯的熱情吸引,而決定認養牠. 大屯一到了新家,

Although Maggie underwent a very big surgery, she was quite brave. She is getting better and better.

She didn't eat lunch when we were around her a few days ago, but now she does.

Rusty

Rusty couldn’t close his mouth and his tongue stuck out, and one eye was closed. The vet diagnosed him with very bad inflammation in his throat. He is now staying at the rescue center and has 2 shots every day to help treat the inflammation.

Dynamo was found in Keelung with his eye ball outside of the eye socket. The vet has removed the eye and stitched the eye socket. He is now staying at the rescue center and is receiving special care.

Maggie

Maggie was found very weak and covered in ticks and fleas. Both her legs were fractured. She had a very big surgery on one of her legs, and after that leg is better, she will need another surgery for the other leg. She is now staying at the center for special care.

(1)Sucie and Susan were rescued from LinKou. They were cruelly abused by a man. Sucie had lost an eye because of the cruelty, and Susan's leg was broken. Their poor brother wasn't so lucky, and he was beaten to death on the spot by this man. Even though Sucie and Susan were so cruelly treated, they are very friendly and love to be around people. They are both very sweet and playful. At 2 months old they have had a terrible start to life, although you would never guess it by their wagging tails at the sight of people. They now are staying at the center and are waiting for someone to give them the loving home that they deserve. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt these ladies will have the best gift life could give.

Sucie和 Susan 因為被人為虐待, 以致於Sucie 一隻眼睛瞎掉,而 Susan則腳嚴重骨折. 更不幸的是, 他們的妹妹是被當場活活打死的. 她們倆現在在救援中心裡養傷, Susan的個性活潑, 精力充沛喜歡玩來玩去, Sucie較秀氣, 非常喜愛人類, 愛親親. 她們都愛被摸肚肚. 她們現在兩個月大,希望找到一個充滿了愛的家庭,給他們一輩子的幸福.

DaTung 大屯 ( neck injury )

DaTung was found on DaTung mountain. He had a large, serious wound on his neck, and he was missing a large piece of skin. He was also limping at the time of his rescue. Our vet has stitched up the wound on his neck and his leg seems to be recovering. DaTung is now at the holding center and is doing well. He's waiting for a loving family to take him home.

當我們在大屯山找到大屯的時候,牠的脖子上掉了一大塊皮.. 緊生趕緊幫他做了縫合手術, 現在牠的傷口正在癒合中. 目前大屯住在中心裡接受治療.

Sunny ( suffered from distemper )

Sunny was found in a 2-meter deep water drain in BeiTou. He looked in pain and was constantly twitching. He was so scared that he tried to bite the person trying to rescue him. He was taken to a vet, but the vet unfortunately didn't want to touch him as he believed he had distemper. We then took him to a different vet and he was examined and diagnosed as having distemper. However, it is in its late stage, so it is no longer contractable by other dogs. He eats well and we will keep an eye on him. He is still twitching, but doesn't seem to be in pain, and therefore we will give him every chance to recover or live a comfortable life.

Sunny是我們在北投一個2公尺深的水溝裡發現的狗狗, 當時他在水溝裡不停的抽搐,由於牠太害怕,當我們要抱牠出來時,牠試著想咬抱牠的人. 我們趕緊帶牠去一家獸醫院,但那個醫師一看牠的症狀,判斷極有可能是犬瘟, 就不敢碰牠, 開了藥請我們給牠吃. 我們趕緊再帶牠去另一間醫院, 經過詳細檢驗,醫師判斷牠是之前染了犬瘟,但現在已經過了犬瘟期. 不過由於病毒已侵襲到腦, 所以牠會不自主的抽搐,這樣的症狀會跟著牠. 目前牠住在中心裡接受觀察.

19 . Mouthy的眼睛開始惡化, 今天又去看了一次醫生, 把左眼縫起來, 如果乖乖點藥, 趕快恢復, 那就可以把線拆掉了。
. Phoenix貼著Pudding玩耍, 希望Phoenix能趕快改行, 和大家一起嬉戲!!

21. Mare發現妞妞的屁股上的皮膚開始長毛了,原本最初大家都以為他不會再長毛,最近吃了卵磷脂沒想到開始長出細毛了.
. Mouthy縫起來的眼睛,感覺上今天比較沒那麼痛了,下午吃第二餐的時候還跟Mare撒嬌呢.
. Addie的毛長的差不多了,牠回家的日子一定越來越近了.

. 基隆祥恩醫院的白波絲貓-胖扁來到AT,胖扁的體重嚇壞大家了,居然直逼7公斤.
. 今天的志工訓練,大家過得很充實,有幫狗狗洗澡,也有帶狗狗去散步,今天還跟兩個志工一起量完狗狗的體重呢.
. Snowball被一個外國小女孩看上,一直吵著跟媽媽說要Snowball,Snowball很快就可以到新家tryout了.
. Zena也有助養人了,他的助養人覺得Zena超乖的呢.

Today morning all the 狗 很乖 乖 的 進 運動場 而且 很 quikly 因為 I 偏 all i 拿 吃 得 東西 就 all go in one by one so today they are so 乖 乖
. Judy the foot 有 感覺 好 像 可以 stand up well 一點點嘞
. 小心 Buddy 因為 他 kiss kiss my 屁屁 所以 大家 也 要 小心 嘞

Phoenix貼著Pudding but 有小小 吵架 因為 吃 的 問 提
. Marble tell me that 它 超級 熱 的 所以 他 低 place 都 換 來 換 去
. BOSTON 不 知 為 何 對 自已 兇 而 他 身 邊 沒 有 別 的 狗 ( 有 問 提 )
. Shoey霸占骨頭, 只要有別隻狗靠近他, 就馬上……, 害無辜的Long john耳朵受傷了!

. 早上在放狗時, Sister乘著Aaron不注意時, 偷偷的逃獄, 放完狗, 在芃諭換水時, 才又看到Sister偷偷的溜回來!
. 今天Phoenix和Whitey打架, 打得不分上下, 可是Phoenix的耳朵受傷了L
. 大花花跟Joey家的貓咪吵得好兇,不得已又把大花花送回來了.
. Kangaroo回來協會了,原本大家以為是骨折造成前肢受傷,經過Vets的診斷,牠是小兒麻痺造成前肢異常,可憐的孩子不能動手術校正捏.
. 大花花今天去汐止結紮,原本預計承德路兩隻流浪狗的CNR,Joey詢問後發現牠們竟然是有人養的,找不到狗狗的狀態下也只能先停止捕捉嚕.
. Ju ju在吃第二餐時, 竟然興奮到後腳站起來了喔! 至少維持了十秒J

01. 今天運動場有了新隔間，Coco、Heihei、Musterd、Sister就可以不用再綁住了，BUT!!!(學Joey的style XD) 由於Musterd又飛越出牆，所以他仍難逃被綁住的命運。
02. 有很多志工來幫忙。很多狗狗都散了步也洗了澡了，真是清爽又熱血的夏天呀！
03. 今天Ricky被認養家庭帶回家了，真是令人又開心又感傷，Ricky加油!!!
04. Marble被帶到廚房try out，但Ivory和Ebony姐妹花剉在等，但我想Marble是男子漢，他是不會欺負女生的!!!

. 今天在要吃飯的時候, Phoenix綁的鍊子鬆掉了, 跑到Chance旁邊, 結果就……吵架了!
. 晚上放完狗, Pat被Chiao和芃諭發現會從門的洞洞鑽出來, 怪不得今天早上他在外面閒晃L
. Chiao在和Charcoal玩的時候, 想湊熱鬧的Buddy不小心衝太快, ……, 就跌倒了!!
