Do you remember the small size dogs we rescued from a bad breeder last year and half of them had eye injuries and half of them had heart worm disease. One of them:Bobby.Bobby lost one eye before we rescued him and he was adopted last year. Bobby 's mommy posted these photos for us

Good news from Bella~

I'd like to share you the good news of Bella ( a cat who we rescued 6 months ago and now the foster mom decided to adopt her.

I am still going to adopt Bella. Bella has a little friend who I rescued from outside my school. The little one thinks Bella is her mum which is so sweet to see, and I know Bella is happy to have a little playmate to chase. I wish I could look after all the kittens!

Button 's happy tail

Dear all,
Button has found a good home. Her new mom sent these happy photos to us.



Button was frightened when she was first rescued. She had never had contact with people. Through Animals Taiwan, Button was able to gain confidence and gradually felt comfortable being held. That gave her a greater chance of being adopted. She found her new home last month. Now she has a perfect family and a furry sister. ^ ^

We rescued 30 dogs from the disreputable breeder. Now we only have one dog, Amei, still waiting at the rescue center for her lovely home.



Amei is very sweet and full of energy. She loves people and is super friendly to kids. She is the perfect pet for a family. If you are looking for a friendly dog and would like to meet Amei, please contact us at 02-2833-8820 or adoptions@animalstaiwan.org.

Puppet and Mushroom safely arrived UK just now.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that thanks to everyone's help especially Mayumi, Lusan, Rita, Joey, Mare and Big Rita and Samuel Puppet and Mushroom have arrived safely in the UK.

Mayumi has spoken to Elizabeth and all is well, i also recieved a message from Elizabeth to say everything is great. She'll send photos when she gets home.

Thank you everyone for making this possible, yes it was a lot of work, yes it was expensive, but i believe it has been worth it. We've not only helped Puppet and Mushroom find a fantastic forever home, but we've also freed up space.

A fantastic start to the year of the Rabbit. I hope you are all well and enjoy hearing this news as much as i did.

The good news from March.

There are some good news from March.

Ms Brown found a lovely, new home.

Wags has gone to a foster home and his foster mommy will be working together with us to find him a great new home!.

Miruku has been adopted. Her family now spoils her rotten :-)

I have great news! I got a foster home!

My foster Mom is Andrea and she lives in Taipei, but quite far down South. She has many other dogs at home so I will not feel lonely.

Paris Reunited With Her Owner!

Not long ago, Joey found Paris, a beautiful golden retriever. Now she’s back with her owner!

Joey was taking Paris for a check-up and asked the vet Paris’ age.
Just by chance, Joey checked to see if Paris had a microchip (She had been checked before but no chip was found...)

What do you know? She had a chip!
This beauty’s real name is White Snow,
and they call her Little Snow!

Her owner runs a home stay around Wulai and came right over to our holding center after finding out about Little Snow.
It turns out that she had been missing for months.
Surveillance tapes showed
that someone had whisked her away on a motorcycle.

Her owners were thrilled to finally bring their beloved dog home.
They kept asking her, “What were you thinking? You’re too trusting!”
The owner kept insisting on paying a "boarding fee" for Little Snowand invited us to be his guests at his home stay!

We’re so happy for them.

So, it pays to microchip your pets!

Joey said that raising the three dogs was “a sweet burden.”

Maggie's up date~

This is the up date from Maggie's mom !!!

She's doing really well, learning to sit, come and lie down. She doesn't always come, and mostly only comes to me rather than other people, but I'm sure she will start to trust more people over time. She has started playing now when we take her up on the roof, and loves the river outside our house. It's been great to watch her get more confident and happy.

小魯實在是讓人超眼紅的啦~
牠的新家在花蓮
獨棟的建築
有很大的前後院
It really makes others feel so envious of such a wonderful home like XiaoLu’s.
He is living in Hualian, and even has a nice garden.

主人是來自英國
但在台灣也算是新住民了
主人之前在他原本的國家有二隻米格魯
也都是壽終正寢
XiaoLu’s papa had 2 beagle. They passed away because of old age. ( not sick.)

他們這一次決定要在台灣養狗是因為決定在花蓮買房子
主人第一次與小魯見面時就非常喜歡牠
儘管小魯有那麼一小點點的不完美跛著腳
當他們看著小魯時那種眼睛會發亮的感覺
我們相信這一次小魯是真的找到歸宿了　！
They made a decision to have dogs, because they love dogs and they know they have the right environment for them. Even though they found XiaoLu's imperfection, we still saw the sparkle in their eyes and we believe that XiaoLu found his real love this time.

Dynamo with new mommy

Do you remember our previous introduction for Dynamo, a kitten who had
lost his ability to see? When he first arrived at our center, he
would do anything he could to hide in the corner when we tried to
feed him. Unfortunately, his upper respiratory tract ended up getting
infected as well, and everyone was very worried for him.

大家還記得不久前我們為您介紹過眼睛掉出來的Dynamo嗎？
還記得牠剛來到我們協會時
我們每天去看他或餵食時
他總是躲在角落
想盡辦法要離我們遠遠的
經歷了失去眼睛後
又一度嚴重的上呼吸道感染
大家都為了他捏了一把冷汗

We patiently took care of him, and fortunately, his situation
gradually improved and he began to accept us, even becoming playful
when we're around.

期間耐心的用針筒幫他餵食餵藥
他現在漸漸的康復當中
而這一段時間
他也漸漸的接受了我們
變成了一隻見人就撒嬌的貓咪

Fortune truly shined down on Dynamo: Miss Xiao came to visit one day
and fell in love with Dynamo, and then decided to adopt him,
Dynamo sleeps with his adoptor on her bed everynight.

時幸運之神眷顧了Dynamo
蕭小姐來到我們中心　
很喜歡也很心疼愛撒嬌的他
就決定將他領養帶回家, 現在Dynamo每天都跳上床去和新主人睡覺呢!!

咳嗽的情況在興奮的狀況下比較明顯，如和人玩、餵食時

藥昨晚和今早已餵了兩份，但是如果直接灑在生的雞骨上，他會想辦法抹掉

倒是用狗罐頭拌一下，很快就吃掉了

Lucky DaTung ( new name: Pilott) 幸運之神眷顧大屯

Dear all,

Dear all,Pilott, an injured dog at the rescue center, was recently paid a visit by her rescuer and her entire family. They all fell in love with Pilott and decided to adopt her. At her new home, Pilott has been getting along very well with the other dog, and everything has been going great. Anne, the original rescuer, is also very happy to have her new companion.Pilott is truly lucky, and we hope that other animals will also be as fortunate. Please find attached a letter and photos from Pilott’s new family.

在大屯( 新名字: Pilott ) 受傷來到救援中心後,牠的發現者之一帶著全家人來救援中心看牠,
全家人都被大屯的熱情吸引,而決定認養牠. 大屯一到了新家,
就馬上和原來家裡的狗狗就像許久未見的朋友, 相處融洽.. 真的是很幸運.
認養人Anne 也很開心有了大屯 的陪伴

大屯的例子真的很幸運,希望其它的動物也像大屯一樣有這樣的好運.

Beau 的幸福的家.

當初發現Beau時,牠躺在地上不動了, 在經過診斷後,發現牠可能是誤食毒藥所致.. 在緊急救援後所幸撿回一條老命..不過雖然牠是小型犬, 但由於個性極度害羞,不願意讓任何人接近牠,使得當時的送養牠的工作變的很難. 經過協會裡每個員工和志工的努力, 每天花相當多的時間與耐力在與牠"膞感情". 在經歷兩個月之後,Beau開始相信我們, 喜歡給我們摸摸.終於,牠也等到了相當疼愛牠的新主人, 一家子都好疼牠呢!!
